Jan is an expert in the development of renewable energy credit tracking systems.  In 2000, Jan founded Clean Power Markets which is the company that currently operates the NJCEP SREC ownership database and bulletin board.  Prior to starting Clean Power Markets, Jan helped develop the green credit market in California.  This was the first program in the country in which green credits and electricity were treated as separate tradable commodities.  Jan's extensive experience in energy credit markets will be a tremendous asset as SRECTrade moves forward.

 

 

Andy is an associate professor of economics at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.  His research focuses on the areas of market and auction design, information economics, and collusion in markets.  Andy also teaches classes on auctions and bargaining to Stanford PhD students.  Andy helped develop SRECTrade's auction process so that New Jersey SRECs are exchanged in an optimally efficient and fair manner.
